Port Washington, NY – September 15, 2020
In response to and in support of the ventilation needs of individuals impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare is pleased to announce a collaboration with Amazon Business to market the INTELLIPAP® Bilevel ST. The BiLevel S/T device is intended to provide non-invasive ventilatory support to patients with respiratory disorders such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), respiratory insufficiency and obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). These devices may be used in the hospital or home.

The device features a Bi-level therapy mode where each breath is patient-triggered and patient-cycled or machine-triggered and machine-cycled. It provides Spontaneous/Timed Pressure Support. The device will enforce a set minimum breath rate by, if necessary, providing machine (time) triggered breaths. The inspiratory time is also a set value for these breaths. It provides non-invasive ventilatory support for patients with:
• Acute respiratory distress or failure
• Exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
• Obstructive Sleep Apnea and other sleep disorders

As part of this partnership, Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare has agreed to donate 40 units to select healthcare facilities, such as Pleasantview Care Center in Parma, Ohio, and People's Care, Inc in Chino Hills, CA.
