Freight Policy

  • All orders under $100.00 are subject to a $20.00 handling fee.
  • Orders over $500.00 will be shipped free freight except for large items such as scooters, patient lifts, beds etc. Orders including these heavy items will need to exceed $1,500.00 to qualify for free freight or a freight charge of $69.99 will be applied to the order.
  • Orders of less than $500.00 will be subject to freight charges. Orders under $250.00 will be charged $29.99 for freight and handling fee, and orders between $250.00 and 500.00 will be charged $39.99.
  • Free freight policy is FOB business addresses. Drop-ship or residential deliveries are not included and are subject to additional charges
  • Accessorial Charges for special handling shipments will be applied to customers’ invoices. These charges include; Lift Gate, Residential Deliveries, and Scheduled Appointments. Lift Gate charges are $35.00 plus tax.
  • For remote areas in Canada the customer will pay “our preferred” actual freight costs. The minimum order amounts do not apply for remote areas.
  • Long Term Care products will be subject to actual freight charges. Please contact Customer Service or your Sales Rep for more details.
  • Freight charges will be prepaid and added to the customer’s invoice, when applicable. Taxes do apply to freight charges.
  • All orders are shipped FOB Drive Medical Canada.
  • Order invoices are created on the date of shipment, and any available terms, are calculated on the shipping date
